Olympia

In 2025, I went on an unforgettable road trip through Greece, discovering its rich history, fascinating culture, and beautiful landscapes. The journey began in Athens, before continuing to Delphi, once considered the centre of the ancient world. In the Peloponnese, I explored Mycenae, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Argos, Sparta and Olympia. Along the way, traditional villages, olive groves and mountains made the journey a wonderful combination of history, culture, nature, and authentic Greek life.

Olympia is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece and the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. Its temples, stadium, and ruins reflect the importance of sport and religion in ancient Greek life. Surrounded by a peaceful green landscape, Olympia offers a fascinating connection to a tradition that continues today.
