Tyrins & Mycenae
In 2025, I went on an unforgettable road trip through Greece, discovering its rich history, fascinating culture, and beautiful landscapes. The journey began in Athens, before continuing to Delphi, once considered the centre of the ancient world. In the Peloponnese, I explored Mycenae, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Argos, Sparta and Olympia. Along the way, traditional villages, olive groves and mountains made the journey a wonderful combination of history, culture, nature, and authentic Greek life.
Tiryns and Mycenae are two of the most important sites of the Mycenaean civilisation. Their massive stone walls, ancient ruins, tombs, and gateways offer a glimpse into Greece’s Bronze Age past. From the famous Lion Gate of Mycenae to the impressive fortifications of Tiryns, both sites reflect the power and architecture of one of ancient Greece’s earliest civilisations.
